About Mrs. Lock

Hello, families! I am Mrs. Lock and I am so excited to be your child's second grade teacher. I can't wait to get to know each other better. Here is a little bit about me.

I was raised in Greenfield, Indiana and graduated from Mount Vernon High School. I got my Elementary Education degree from Ball State University in 2013. After graduating college, I started my teaching career third grade at Pleasant Crossing. I taught third grade for six years and this is my second year teaching second grade.

I married my husband, Zach, in June 2014 and moved to Greenwood where I could be closer to work. Soon after that, we added our chocolate lab, Loki, to our family. Now, Loki is the center of attention in our small family of three. Your children will be sure to hear lots of stories about Loki!

Traveling is my passion. My husband and I try to travel as often as possible. We often travel with their best friends. I have been to 17 countries and am hoping to add more to that list soon! I also love reading, spending time with friends and family, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with Ms. Brown, the STEM teacher.

I love building relationship with current, former, and future students. I hope to teach at PCES for many years to come!
